About The Study

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury has completed the 2022 Transportation Master Plan (TMP) that incorporates updated population and employment forecasts to guide infrastructure investments, policies, and strategies for a multi-modal transportation network up to the year 2031.

The Process

The TMP followed Phases 1 and 2 of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) process for master plans. The recommendations from the TMP were determined and refined through a data-driven process, traffic modelling, and extensive public and agency consultation and input. The recommendations help identify the next steps that the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury can take to improve how people travel through within and through the Town.

The TMP provided recommendations to improve the Town’s roadways, intersections, active transportation, and transit systems.

Notice of Review Period

This notice announces the start of the 30 calendar-day public review period for the TMP in accordance with the requirements of the EA process. The review period will begin on August 9, 2022.
