Whether you think Halloween is the best season of them all, or you're just plain crazy about Fall, then this is your chance to show off your BOO-tiful outdoor display and earn bragging rights for a year!
The Mayor and Council will be awarding first, second and third place honours to the homes in BWG with the best outdoor Halloween/Fall decorating. We will also feature your names and winning photos on our social media pages.
To enter:
- Send up to two photos of your outdoor decorating to [email protected] (or drop off prints at 100 Dissette St, Unit 7/8) by no later than 12:00 noon on Friday, October 29, 2021. You may wish to send one photo of your house/yard in full daylight and one photo of your display after dark so judges get the full effect!
- Your entry must include your full name, address and a phone number or email address (one entry per address, BWG residences only). Winners' names only will be published.
- A judging committee will review all entries, and the winner will be announced on Saturday, October 30.
- The first place winner’s name (e.g. “Jane Smith” or “The Smith family”) will be added to a trophy that will be on public display each October, and the first, second and third place homes will receive a special ribbon that you can incorporate into your décor.
With this contest, everyone is a winner because spreading a little "spirit" benefits our whole community!
