Storywalks® Are Back at the Library! Take a self-guided walk through the field and follow along with the story.

BWG’s first Storywalks® event took place on Tuesday, June 21 on National Indigenous Peoples Day, showcasing pages of “The Sharing Circle” by Theresa “Corky” Larsen-Jonasson and illustrated by Jessika Von Innerebner. The Sharing Circle is a story that shares and celebrates teachings shared by proud Cree/Danish Métis Elder.

Up next is Canadian Multiculturalism Day. Stop by the Library on Monday, June 27, and walk along the pages of “Our World is a Family” by Miry Whitehill and Jennifer Jackson, illustrated by Nomar Perez to celebrate the diversity of our community and those around us!

Be sure to scan the QR code to check in and for your chance to win a $20.00 Tims card! And share a photo from your Storywalk® through Facebook Messenger or via email to [email protected].

Visitors are reminded to dress for the weather as this is an outdoor program.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and was developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
