Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, interact with the public, and develop valuable skills for a future job as a Swim Instructor or Lifeguard.
Volunteers must be 14 years old with a Bronze Medallion certification.

*Returning volunteers need to register in order to receive shifts, do not need to attend the orientation date.

How it works:
By volunteering at the pool you will earn credits for every volunteer hour worked. These credits can be applied to the cost of select leadership courses required to become a Lifeguard or Swim Instructor. This means you will only be required to pay the exam and course material fees. Alternatively, volunteer hours can instead be used for High School Community Involvement Hours.
