Carrot Fest is coming up on August 16 and 17, and with so many options for free entertainment, here’s a breakdown of all the events and performances you can expect at this year’s festival: 

 

 

FRIDAY, AUGUST 16 (4 PM-MIDNIGHT):

Local Business Vendor Market:
-              4 pm - 10 pm

Main Stage:

-              5 pm: Big Shiny 90s (90s alternative rock hits)

-              6:30 pm: Official Ceremonies

-              8 pm: Coming of Age (classic rock)

Courthouse Parking Lot/Holland St. E.:

-              6-10 pm: Legends and Classic Cars show

-              6 pm: Neo Young (Neil Young tribute)

-              8 pm: British Invasion (1960s music)

Kids Zone:

-              4-9 pm: Cupcake decorating, crafts, and inflatables

-              6-8 pm: Balloon twisting

-              5 pm & 8:30 pm: Balloon Show

-              5:30 & 7 pm: Juggling Show

 

SATURDAY, AUGUST 17 (9 AM-MIDNIGHT):

Vendor Market:

-              9 am - 6 pm

Main Stage:

-              11:30 am & 2:30 pm: Elite Dance Corps

-              12:30 pm: The Rolling Stones Tribute Show

-              4 pm: Monkey Wrench (Foo Fighters tribute)

-              6 pm: Neon Nostalgic (hits from the 1980s to present)

-              8 pm: Joy Brigade (1980s music)

-              11 am-midnight: Beer Garden provided by the Village Inn

-              And more!

Kids Zone:

-              10 am - 6 pm: Inflatables and games

Tim Hortons Busker Pitch:

-              10 am: Fire Guy Show

-              12 pm & 4 pm: Spencer Scurr Magic Show

-              1 pm, 3 pm & 5 pm: Bex in Motion Hula Hoop Show

Alectra Busker Pitch:

-              10 am, 1 pm & 3 pm: The Stupendous Silver Sisters Aerial Show

-              12 pm & 5 pm: The Circus Drummer

-              2 pm & 4 pm: Steve Goodtime Rock n Roll Comedy Show

Courthouse Parking Lot:

-              11 am, 2 pm & 6 pm: BMX Stunt Show

-              1 pm, 3 pm & 5 pm: Conkrete Stylz Break-dancing

-              7 pm: Flaming Carrot Finale

Bradford & District Memorial Community Centre:

-              10 am - 5 pm: Aqua Dogs

-              10 am - 4 pm: Pony Rides

-              11:30 am (free) & 6:30 pm (paid): PWA Wrestling – Quest for the Cup

-              12 pm - 4pm: Youth Zone (axe throwing, jousting, food, DJ)

 

On Saturday, free bus service will be offered by BWG Transit.
