Shawn Gibson

Shawn attended Humber College for Journalism before he began freelance writing for different cities across Ontario in 2006. After moving to Barrie in 2008, Shawn has written for various publications in the city covering local sports, politics, arts and entertainment and other issues that matter to the community. In 2015, Shawn began writing for BarrieToday and became a full-time member of the Village Media family in 2018.
