The South Simcoe Police Service is searching for a rightful owner after an upstanding citizen discovered a substantial amount of cash and turned it into police.

On Sunday, May 5, 2024, 11-year-old Kaiden and his mother Samantha were riding their scooters on a trail in Bradford. Kaiden found a large sum of money that was scattered along the trail and wanted to make sure the money was returned to its owner. Kaiden and his mother attended the police station and handed over the money to police in hopes of being able to locate the owner of the found money. Thank you Kaiden and Samantha for being honest and doing the right thing!

The owner must be able to describe the sum and denominations of the cash. The owner is asked to call the South Simcoe Police's non-emergency number at 705-436-2141 or 905-775-3311.
