TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH - The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a two-motor vehicle collision that sent a driver to a local trauma centre with serious life-threatening conditions.
On May 8, 2024 shortly after 10 p.m., Nottawasaga OPP and emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a commercial motor vehicle and a passenger vehicle on Tottenham Road between 11th line and 12th line. The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre in critical condition with life-altering injuries.
Tottenham Road was closed between 11th line and 12th line for several hours while the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist assist with the investigation.
