Election Day is Oct. 22 in this year's municipal election.

Today is the last day to vote in the municipal election in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

Here is all you need to know.

Since there are no paper ballots this year, people can cast their votes online or by phone, the website URL and phone number for which were sent in the mail to local residents.

People can submit their votes up until 8 p.m. today.

Official results are expected to be released after the polls close.

Here is a breakdown of exactly how the online and phone voting systems work.

If you would rather speak to a person about it, the town is running Voter Help Centres. There are two main ones operating today:

Zima Room of the BWG Public Library, 425 Holland St. W.

  • Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The town’s Administration Centre, 100 Dissette St.

  • Oct. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

There will also be mobile voting stations at Bradford Valley Care Community, 100 Miller Park, 200 Holland Crt,, and the LeBlanc Rest Home.
