CANADA: Furniture designer crafts a chair named 'solace' to aid those harmed by Fiona's wrath
His work, crafted from a Nova Scotia red oak downed by the storm that made landfall Sept. 24, 2022, is up for auction at a starting bid of $30,000. It is one of three artistic creations being sold to provide funds for storm victims.
