Voting starts today in Bradford’s municipal election

Voting in the municipal election in Bradford West Gwillimbury is officially underway today.

Are you ready to vote?

Since there are no paper ballots this year, people can cast their votes online or by phone, the website URL and phone number for which were sent in the mail to local residents.

People can submit their votes anytime between Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. and Oct. 22 at 8 p.m.

Official results are expected to be released after the polls close on Oct. 22.

If you would rather speak to a person about it, the town is running Voter Help Centres:

Zima Room of the BWG Public Library, 425 Holland St. W.

  • Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Oct. 15-19 from 4-8 p.m.
  • Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The town’s Administration Centre, 100 Dissette St.

  • Oct. 15-19, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

There will also be mobile voting stations at Bradford Valley Specialty Care centre, 100 Miller Park, 200 Holland Crt,, and the LeBlanc Rest Home.
