It’s voting day!

Here’s what you need to know.

WHERE TO VOTE

If you didn’t receive a voter card in the mail, visit the Elections Canada website and type in your postal code to find your allocated polling station. 

WHEN TO VOTE

Anytime today from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

WHAT YOU NEED TO VOTE

Any one piece of government ID that includes your name, address and photo.

OR

Show two pieces of ID, both showing your name and at least one showing your address.

If you don’t have an ID, you can register in writing to declare your address and have someone you know vouch for you. The voucher must provide their address.

WHO YOU CAN VOTE FOR

There are six candidates running in the York-Simcoe riding:

Scot Davidson (Conservative Party)

Cynthia Wesley-Esquimaux (Liberal Party)

Jessa McLean (New Democratic Party)

Jonathan Arnold (Green Party)

Michael Lotter (People’s Party of Canada)

Keith Komar (Libertarian Party)
