The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury invites everyone to join in on the Canada Day celebrations on Wednesday, July 1 - virtually!

The virtual Canada Day celebration will be shared online and accessible via the Town’s website and social media starting at 10 a.m. It will feature music segments from local BWG artists, the singing of O Canada, a message from MP Scot Davidson and MPP Caroline Mulroney, and the announcement of Civic Award winners by Mayor Keffer and Town Council.

Finally, leading up to Canada Day, the Town encourages residents to decorate their homes with a Canada Day Décor Contest. This contest is a fun and creative way to engage BWG residents in celebrating Canada Day and help decorate the town red!

To participate, decorate a window (or more) in your home, take a picture and submit it to [email protected] by Monday, June 29 at 9 a.m. Top choices will be put on the @townofbwg Facebook page on July 1 for the public to vote for their favourites. The winner will receive a $100 BWG Local Business Gift Card package.
