TOWN OF INNISFIL

INNISFIL – The COVID-19 pandemic has rocked Canadian communities. With the announcement of a provincial state of emergency, the Town of Innisfil is launching a new way for the community to connect and support each other through this challenging time.

That’s why we’ve developed www.GetInvolvedInnisfil.ca/Covid19 – a place to share information and remind ourselves of the strength of our community.

During this new era of social distancing, the Town of Innisfil wants to bring the community together safely, online. We know that Innisfil is a strong and caring community, and that during hard times we must remember to be there for each other – even if our interactions can’t take place in person.

“The sense of community in Innisfil never ceases to amaze me,” says Innisfil Mayor Lynn Dollin. “Help us stay connected by sharing your stories and photos online. We’re asking all residents to get involved safely so that you and your family stay healthy.”

Beyond the regular updates the Town of Innisfil will provide, this site is an opportunity for residents to share their stories at the community level. We encourage our community to submit their wholesome and heartwarming stories and share their tips and tricks for dealing with this new normal.

Tell us what you are doing to keep yourself and family well-balanced and entertained. Maybe it’s a favourite recipe that you can share or photos from a family hike on a trail in Town that you just discovered. Log in, and share the good!
