*************************
Yesterday, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit declared the COVID-19 outbreak at Bradford Valley Care Community to be over. This milestone is a direct result of the heroic and inspiring efforts by the Bradford Valley Team working in close collaboration with Simcoe Muskoka District Health and health care providers at Southlake Regional Health Centre.

Our deepest thank you and gratitude go to all who have worked so hard for the past few weeks through the devastating impact of this outbreak.

While the outbreak is over, we remain extremely vigilant with all Public Health directives remaining in place to ensure the continued safety of our residents and staff, including adherence to Personal Protective Equipment and testing protocols.

We are all grieving and offer our most sincere condolences to the families and friends of the residents who passed away from this virus. They are first and foremost in our thoughts and hearts as we mark this notable milestone.

We remain incredibly grateful for the demonstrated support of all residents, families, and the entire community of Bradford who have done so much to support and inspire the Bradford Valley team in reaching this milestone. Your continued support and our collective efforts are essential to our success as we continue to fight this pandemic.
