All fire stations are closed to the public, but remain operational.

In order to be pro-active we are doing the following:

  • Increasing hand-washing signage at all Town facilities and public community spaces ;
  • Providing training and messaging to staff to ensure everyone is aware of best practices when it comes to preventing transmission; and
  • Remaining in communication with our partners at the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit to ensure we have the latest information and are ready to act as soon as possible.

“This is a fluid situation – and one that is changing quickly,” says Innisfil Mayor Lynn Dollin. “The best way to prepare is by informing yourself with accurate, credible sources of information like the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.”
