Effective Monday, March 1 at 12:01 a.m., all municipalities in the Simcoe Muskoka district are returning to the Grey-Lockdown zone until further notice.

There have been some modifications to the Grey restrictions – for complete details please see: www.ontario.ca/page/covid-19-response-framework-keeping-ontario-safe-and-open#grey

As a result, the town's planned resumption of service at the Leisure Centre is on hold. A new re-opening schedule will be provided once a date has been given when the lockdown will be lifted.

Since the Leisure Centre will be closed, BWG Transit will continue to be free.

Watch the Leisure Centre website and social media pages for future updates.

At this time, it is anticipated that service will continue at Town Administrative Offices as required, but it is encouraged that residents to continue to use virtual services wherever possible. Please see www.townofbwg.com/service for details.
