A Bradford Halloween by Dave Heggblom

In Bradford, it's a spooky night,
A time that may be full of fright,
Ghouls and goblins haunt the town,
Witches and monsters wander around.

Stay indoors and be real quiet,
Forget about that healthy diet,
Break out the candy and the treats,
Tonight's the night for eating sweets.

The kids check out Saint Avenue,
Reid Road, Eve Court, and others too,
It's scary out there, that's for sure,
There is no way to feel secure.

Toddlers, kids, teens, and more,
They'll all come knocking at your door,
So don't run out of treats or chips
Or you may get some nasty tricks.

When it's over and they're all gone,
You survived the night, you took it on,
So for now, there' no more fear,
At least not for another year.

Happy Halloween!!!
