Getting to Highway 400 has always been a commuter's nightmare, so if the bypass can shave time off of that, it would be wonderful, letter writer says

The Ontario government announced last summer that work would commence on the Bradford Bypass.

Re: Letter to the editor, Bypass will reduce travel time, emissions, July 13, 2022.

I have lived in the Keswick area for the last 30+ years, long before Highway 404 was even thought of.

The Bradford Bypass, in my opinion, should have been built at the same time the 404 was completed. Getting to Highway 400 has always been a commuter's nightmare, so if the bypass can shave some time off of that, it would be wonderful.

For all the people screaming about the environmental impact, I agree that care needs to be taken, but I would much rather listen to solutions instead of constant problems.

If the bypass goes through, all the voices complaining will have done so for naught and possibly nothing will be done to mitigate the potential damage to the environment.  Let's work together to get this done!
