Ontario’s green belt and surrounding farmland is essential to our communities, livelihoods and our own ability to be self sufficient regarding our own locally grown produce.

It is predicted that there were will be a world shortage of grain and wheat, not to mention an huge increase in the cost of food due to the unprecedented cost of fuel, mostly attributed to the war in the Ukraine.

Ontario will need all the farmland it can to ensure that Ontario can at least produce its own food to help keep the cost of food manageable and where we are not relying so much on imports.

We need to save our province and the little natural land we have left.

Not to mention, the Ontario government cannot even manage to maintain the roads we have now, how are they going to maintain another highway?

I urge all Ontarians to come together and stand against the construction of Highway 413 before it’s too late!
