Community & Home Assistance to Seniors (CHATS) is hosting a new annual fundraising car rally called the Amazing Adventure on Oct. 15.
A kickoff event for the rally was held Sunday at Goblets & Goblins in Newmarket featuring a food and vendor market.
Teams in the Amazing Adventure will search out various checkpoints around the York Region and south Simcoe area.
The event — the first of its kind in the area — is an Amazing Race-style competition that will raise funds for the organization that supports local seniors with a variety of programs and services.
The Amazing Adventure will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15 at CHATS head office, 240 Edward St. Learn more and register, $50, here.
