Array Canada Inc., located on Reagens Industrial Parkway in Bradford, has always had a strong connection to the community.

Its high school co-op programs, for example, have launched the careers of many young people in BWG, in fields that include cabinet-making and design.

Employees also step up to assist the local Helping Hand Food Bank with donations of money and non-perishable food items, especially at Thanksgiving.

In the two weeks leading up to the holiday, staff held a food drive for the Food Bank, and on Friday, handed over their donations to Anne Silvey, president of the Bradford food bank.

“Thank you from the Bradford Food Bank for your kind generosity and Thanksgiving wishes,” Silvey said. “It will make a huge difference to local families.”

The Helping Hand Food Bank is located at 123 Moore St. and is open to qualifying families and individuals Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 2 p.m., and Fridays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
