Beeton Fall Fair is coming.... for the 163rd time

A sign that autumn is on the way - the Beeton Fall Fair is just around the corner.

The Beeton Fall Fair is a beloved tradition– an agricultural fair, held every September that combines the best of all that is rural in a family-friendly event.

This year’s fair runs from Sept. 13 to 15 at the Beeton fairgrounds, with homecraft exhibits in the arena, a Magical Midway, beer garden with live entertainment, and a fair parade at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Sept. 14 on Beeton’s Main Street.

Saturday’s events also include Woofstock Canine Allstar shows at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., weiner dog races at noon, a spelling bee, baby show, and the Ontario Truck and Tractor Pullers' Assocation (OTTPA) Garden Tractor Pull at 2 p.m.

4-H livestock shows take place on Saturday – sheep at 10 a.m., miniature horses at noon, boys and girls special at 11:30 a.m., dairy club at noon, beef club at 1 p.m. Saturday is Achievement Day for the Bradford/Beeton 4-H Dairy Club.

On Sunday, catch the Classic Car, Truck, Antique Tractor and Motorcycle Show on the fairgrounds and the Annual Demolition Derby at 1 p.m.

The theme of the 163rd Beeton Fall Fair is ‘Pumpkin and Spice and Everything Nice.’ Admission is $8 per person; free for elementary school age children. Entry to the homecraft displays at the arena is also free; donations to the local food bank are welcomed.

Ride all day passes for the midway can be purchased for $25 per person.

There is still  time to pick up a Beeton Fair booklet and enter one or more of the homecraft competitions - from photography to quilting to best vegetables - for prizes and bragging rights.
