Bradford celebrates the New Year at Family First Night (18 photos)

This year's event included buskers, skating, take-home crafts and fireworks

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury hosted the ninth annual Family First yesterday at the BWG Leisure Centre.

Residents gathered to ring in the new year with friends and family.

This year's event was made smaller with preventative measures due to COVID-19. People in attendance enjoyed a night of entertainment and activities for everyone to enjoy before the clock hit midnight.

‘’I truly love this event that the town plans every year it is so nice to see people be people again," said event sponsor Andrea Flynn of Sabari Orthodontics.

"It is a fresh start, and it is an opportunity to make more great new memories," said attendee Natalie Panetta. "The event was a lot of fun, there was something for everyone in attendance, and it was a great way to ring in the new year with some of a normal lifestyle."

The event concluded with a fireworks display outside the Leisure Centre at 9 p.m.
