Bradford virtual magician and children's entertainer Scott Dietrich and his beauty queen wife, Mrs. Galaxy Canada 2020, Denise Garrido will be hosting a free virtual event for kids tomorrow with the Innisfil ideaLAB and Library.
Children and their families are welcome to tune in and participate in the read-along story and magic workshop right from the comfort of their own homes via the Zoom app.
The event was originally planned to take place in-person in April, however, due to COVID-19 had to be cancelled. Dietrich and Garrido know that children need inspiration and laughter now more than ever, and are using the magic of Zoom to bring it back to the library's virtual schedule.
The couple will take turns reading their inspirational children's book, "I Can and I Did" which focuses on the importance of perseverance and believing in yourself.
The fun starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday May 9. All ages are welcome to join. Those interested in attending are asked to register in advance online here.
