South Simcoe Police Service officers have charged a 42-year-old Bradford man after an escort was assaulted, robbed and confined.
On Saturday, Aug. 16, 2019, around 10:00 p.m., police were dispatched to a home in Bradford where the victim reported she had been assaulted, robbed and prevented from leaving the residence. She was able to escape the home and called police.
A 42-year-old Bradford man was arrested at the scene and charged with assault, robbery and forcible confinement.
He was transported to South Division where he was later released with a future court date. The victim did not suffer any physical injuries.
