Bradford resident, Domenic Filippone is always looking for ways to help make his town a better place to live.

Almost everyday he can be found outside near the canal by his home, planting trees and picking up trash left behind by cars driving by. He is an avid gardener, and frequently visits the greenhouses in town, looking for shrubs and trees to plant on his property.

Fillipone grew up on his grandparents' land on Canal Road and eventually went on to create his own dream home on a piece of the property. It was here he started a life with his wife and together they raised three children.

His daughter, Nikki sent in a letter to let BradfordToday know what a great example of community her father represents.

Just this past Sunday, he provided gloves and bags to anyone that was willing to join him picking up trash, (while still practicing social distancing of course).
