Bradford Minor Baseball pitches new elite program

The Bradford Minor Baseball Association is pleased to introduce the all-new Bradford Elite Baseball Program. The Bradford Dodgers will field 15U and 16U teams, playing out of the EBLO (Elite Baseball League of Ontario) starting Fall 2021.

The Bradford Dodgers Elite Program will be lead by a trio of professional coaches, Brad Earle, Rob Dinwoodie, and Myke Curphey .

Meet the Staff:

Brad Earle – Brad will serve as the Director of Baseball Operations and Primary Outfield Coordinator for the Bradford Dodgers. Brad spent his university career at Paris College in West Texas where he enjoyed plenty of success as a player and instructor within the West Texas baseball academy. Brad continued his playing career in the prestigious Intercounty loop for the Waterloo Tigers, Kitchener Panthers, and Brantford Red Sox over 5 years.

After his playing career, Brad was appointed GM of the Guelph Royals, and later became the Primary Player Talent Recruiter for the Brantford Red Sox and Barrie Baycats. Brad’s ability to evaluate top talent and develop North American players lead him to an opportunity where he currently works as an Associate Scout for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Rob Dinwoodie – Rob will serve as the Primary Infield Coordinator for the Bradford Dodgers entering their inaugural season. He spent 4 years on a US scholarship at NAIA powerhouse Point Park University from ‘97-2000. He was a key part of the ’98 team that held the best record in NAIA at 46-4, ranked 8th nationally and participated in the NAIA College World Series. He was named 1999 Great Lakes Regional player of the year, and has amassed several single season and career hitting records which still stand today. He was also inducted into the Point Park Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.

Rob continued his playing journey in the intercounty ranks winning back-to-back titles with the Guelph Royals in 2003 and 2004. From there, Rob began his coaching career with several elite teams and OBA programs. He has worked with several players that have gone on to play at top US Universities and with the Canadian National Junior Team.

Myke Curphey– Myke will serve as the Primary Pitching and Catching Coordinator for the Bradford Dodgers. He had a successful career at NAIA powerhouse Point Park University from ‘96-‘99 where he holds several single season and career pitching records which still stand today. Myke was also part of the’98 team that lead the country in wins and was ranked 8th nationally in the NAIA.

Following his university playing career, Myke started his coaching journey with Point Park as a Grad Assistant. From there, Myke took his coaching talents to several top AAA, elite, and Intercounty baseball teams across Ontario. Along his 21-year coaching journey, he has successfully assisted in placing over
100 players at US Universities to further their playing careers.
