Blood donors are in need year round, but especially during the holidays.
"At this time of year, we are competing with all sorts of charities for your time and attention, and new donors are at the top of my wish list for Santa," said Territory Manager for Canadian Blood Services Malvika Arun.
Cancer treatments, trauma surgeries, and organ transplants all routinely take place between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
