Bradford West Gwillimbury’s annual Carrot Fest returns to the downtown core tonight ans tomorrow. Join us on Barrie Street for live music on stage, at the Courthouse for busker and BMX shows, and in supporting local businesses!

On Friday, August 20 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m., and on Saturday, August 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Curtis Goddard Team Stage will feature live music with performances by Who Made Who (ACDC cover band), Desire (U2 cover band) and Mudmen. The stage will be located on Barrie Street between Holland Street and John Street.

You can also head to the TD Busker Pitch in the Courthouse parking lot at 57 Holland Street E from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday to see the return of Jagger Sports’ BMX show, performances from Hercinia Arts and more!

In-person activities at both locations require pre-registration at www.carrotfest.ca, with walk-ins also permitted as space allows.

When attending the stage or busker pitch, please remember to bring a chair or blanket as seating will not be provided. Music, entertainment and busker shows will also be live-streamed to the @townofbwg Facebook page over the course of the weekend.

Carrot Fest is rooted in supporting local businesses! This year, in lieu of a street market, you can support past and future Carrot Fest vendors by shopping and dining in Bradford. From August 16 to 23, participating locations will have Carrot Fest related promotions, deals or coupons. Using the smartphone application GooseChase, join the ‘Carrot Fest Downtown Roots’ game and complete missions for a chance to win prizes. Download the app and search the game by name or enter the code PBEGR6.
