Did you know that almost 400,000 people access food banks across Ontario? A third of those people are children. No one should have to face their day on an empty stomach, so The Cooperators Bradford location is challenging you to help them to feed someone in need.

Here’s how you can help:

  • From Friday Nov. 8– Wednesday Dec.11, fill up a bag of non-perishable food items
  • Take a selfie and hashtag it #FoodMountain
  • Drop off the bag at The Cooperators Bradford Location – 442 Holland St. West – Unit #3
  • Nominate someone to do the same!

And so on… and so on!

Not sure what to donate? Here is a list of some of the most needed items right now:

  • peanut butter and jam
  • canned pastas and stews
  • canned meat
  • cookies, crackers and cereal
  • snacks for school lunches: granola bars, pudding cups, fruit cups
  • diapers (size 5-6 needed most) and baby wipes
  • personal hygiene items: shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toilet paper
  • feminine hygiene items

All items will dropped off to the Helping Hand Foodbank on Thursday Dec. 12. with the JK and SK classes from Fred C. Cook Public School.
