Crews extinguish fire at Edward St. building in Bradford

Structure was supposed to be vacated ahead of demolition

Bradford firefighters made quick work of a small blaze at a building on Edward Street on Wednesday morning.

Emergency crews responded shortly after 10 a.m. to the structure, which previously housed three apartments but had been vacated and was in the process of demolition.

Two people were seen leaving the building with their belongings and were being questioned by the South Simcoe Police Service.
