Due to inclement weather, tonight's 'Outdoor Movies' event is being moved indoors.
Instead of a drive-in feel, the event will have a cinema vibe instead.
The Town of BWG has organized the Outdoor Movies event. The idea was to show the movies on a large screen, outside the BWG Library and Cultural Centre, under the stars on select evenings in August.
However, due to a forecast that calls for rain and thunderstorms, tonight's event will take place at the Bradford & District Memorial Community Centre - 125 Simcoe Rd.
The series of movies is presented by Summerlyn Dental. Here's the schedule:
- Tuesday, August 6 – How to Train Your Dragon: Hidden World (supporting sponsor: Genesis Gymnastics)
- Thursday, August 8 – Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (supporting sponsor: No Frills)
- Tuesday, August 20 – Wall-E
- Thursday, August 22 – Aladdin (supporting sponsor: Oxford Learning; Special Guests: BWG Fire & Emergency Services, early start time 7:00p.m.)
Pre-movie activities begin at 8 p.m. with movies set to start at dusk.
