GALLERY: Orchestra's Rhapsody in Blue hits all the right notes

The Huronia Symphony Orchestra, with Oliver Balaburski conducting, performed Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue at the Collier Street United Church on Sunday afternoon, along with pieces by Violet Archer, Samuel Barber and Tchaikovsky.

Sitting in with the orchestra for part of the performance was Canadian-Israeli pianist Michael Berkovsky.

Set for May 12, the next and final concert of the season on their schedule at the downtown Barrie church is Beethoven's Eroica symphony, and Sibelius' Symphony No. 7.
