CITY OF BARRIE

The city is hosting a drop-in workshop and online opportunities for a community discussion on the future of Essa Road and Bradford Street. The conversation will focus on the potential these corridors hold to creating lively and inviting neighbourhoods.

“Essa Road and Bradford Street are two major gateways into our city,” said Andrea Bourrie, director of planning and building services. “We’re creating an opportunity to collectively reimagine these streets, to learn how people envision a future along these corridors, and to create unique places for community members to connect and share year-round.”

Your input matters!

Join the interactive workshop on Tuesday, May 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Southshore Community Centre (205 Lakeshore Dr.). It’s open to everyone and registration isn’t required. Residents are also encouraged to share ideas and add to the discussion online.
