Here comes Santa Claus (40 photos)

Santa made his debut in Bradford Saturday evening

Children and families braved the cold as they packed Holland and Simcoe Streets last night to welcome Santa Claus to BWG.

The 2019 parade featured 13 brightly lit floats, classic cars, marching bands, dancers, fire spinners and festive characters.

County of Simcoe Paramedics and Bradford Bulldogs collected toys for their annual toy drive and the Bradford Bulldogs picked up all the letters to Santa from the crowd.

South Simcoe Police and BWG Fire also took part, with their cruisers and fire trucks lighting up the streets and handing out candies.

The man in red was the grand finale on his bright, sparkly snowflake float, waving to all the girls and boys in the audience.

The parade made its way down Holland Street from Bradford District High School and finished at Bradford Memorial Community Centre.

Santa returns in just 42 sleeps!
