Residents and guests at Holland Gardens enjoyed their first ever Holiday Social on Tuesday afternoon.
The event featured a special performance by the local ladies of On Track Quartet, belting out holiday favourites like Silent Night and White Christmas, as well as singalong tracks Jingle Bells and We Wish You A Merry Christmas.
Guests enjoyed the sweet melodies as they snacked on holiday treats and sipped on eggnog and punch.
50/50 raffle tickets were sold, with proceeds going to help out LOFT community services.
On Track Sweet Adelines Quartet: Vikki Wright, Jen Febel, Cheryl Yaciuk, and Meaghan DeClerq have been singing together for almost a year and have been singing barbershop for almost a ten years, and Yaciuk, for 23.
They enjoy singing together and encourage anyone with a passion to sing to join a chorus.
"It's really really fun, and there is a lot of bonding," said Wright.
They have a few more shows coming up including, Black Creek Pioneer Village on Saturday Dec.14 , Bradford Valley LongTerm Care on Tuesday Dec. 17, and Southlake Hospital next Wednesday Dec. 18, where they will be singing songs for patients and visitors.
