The provincial government announced that effective Sunday, December 19 capacity restrictions will be re-introduced in a number of settings, including in recreation facilities.
How does this affect operations at the BWG Leisure Centre?
The following areas of the facility will be limited to 50% capacity:
- Aquatic Centre
- Gymnasium
- Ice Rinks
- Fitness Centre
Drop-in use will continue to be on a first come first serve basis. We ask that participants are patient and recognize that these new restrictions could result in wait times/lines. Please be mindful of physical distancing while in line.
Pre-booking is still required for Group Fitness Classes (including aquafit).
Reminder:
The BWG Leisure Centre will have modified hours and drop-in schedules over the winter break.

December 25, 2021 - CLOSED
December 26, 2021 - open 8:00am-4:00pm
December 31, 2021 - open 6:00am-1:00pm & Family First Night 5:30-8:30pm
January 1, 2022 - CLOSED
All facility bookings will proceed as scheduled.
Winter Break Drop-in Schedules
All program areas (swimming, fitness, gymnasium & skating) will have modified drop-in schedules during the Winter Break. Winter Break drop-in schedules are available HERE.
Winter Break schedules are in effect from Monday, December 20, 2021-Sunday, January 2, 2022.
Please pay careful attention to cancellations, closures, revised hours and additions.
