Mariel Clark of Bradford won a $100,000 prize with Instant Gift Pack (Game #1930).
Mariel, 40, says she enjoys playing Instant Gift Pack during the holidays.
“My mom used to add these tickets to our stocking ever since I turned 18 and I now follow that tradition,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.
“Once everyone finished opening their gifts on Christmas Day, I made myself a cup of coffee and sat on the sofa with my tickets. To my surprise, one of them was a big winner,” Mariel said. “I didn’t believe it at first. I called my husband over to check and he didn’t believe it, either. I began to freak out — I kept screaming.”
Mariel plans to invest her winnings.
“My kids are too young to fully understand what’s going on. My youngest said, ‘Mama, does this mean we can go to Disney World now?’” she laughed.
“This was the most magical Christmas I’ve ever experienced,” Mariel concluded.
Instant Gift Pack is available for $20 a play and the top prize is $100,000. Odds of winning any prize are one in 1.00.
The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Holland Street in Bradford.
