Bradford's downtown core saw another grand opening this past weekend at Infinity Beauty Salon.
Salon owner, Adelina Brito celebrated with family and friends along with the mayor, members of council, MP Scot Davidson and the Bradford Board of Trade for the ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday morning.
Brito has been a hairstylist for 25 years. She had her own salon in Portugal for 16 years before moving to Canada five years ago.
When she moved to the area, she started working at a few salons in Newmarket before she and a friend opened their own salon, European Style Salon & Esthetics, in Bradford in 2017.
"But I was still following my dream to have my own business just by my self," she said.
And now that dream has become a reality with the new Infinity Beauty Salon located at 5 Holland St. East.
"My hope is to provide quality, a good environment to my clients," she explained.
She added, "I also hope to find people (staff) to create a modern and educated team."
