Stephane Diamond and Christine Forget have the engine tuned up at their new Canadian Tire location.
The couple acquired the Innisfil store several months ago. And they'll host a grand reopening for the site from May 2 to 9. Anyone who has been into the location recently may have noticed the modified configuration, lighting and signage upgrades, and new customer service counter and checkout areas. Crews will also be working to revamp the exterior storefront in the coming days.
It’s all part of the store's renewed dedication toward serving local customers, says Diamond, a native of Quebec who has previously owned two other Canadian Tire sites.
"This grand reopening marks an exciting new chapter for Canadian Tire," he said. "Under new ownership, we're committed to delivering exceptional experiences for our customers while providing a fresh, updated space to shop and connect with the community."
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the store, located at 1455 Innisfil Beach Rd., May 4 at 9 a.m. But throughout the eight-day celebration there will also be discounts and promotions on a wide range of products and services, Diamond says.
