On the last long weekend of summer, it is time for one last hurrah before the new school year begins — but watch out for these closures.
Here is a look at what is open and closed in Bradford West Gwillimbury this weekend.
Government offices
All Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury offices will be closed Sept. 3
Transit
BWG Transit will not run Sept. 3
Library
Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library is open Sept. 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., but closed Sunday and Monday.
Leisure centre
Bradford West Gwillimbury Leisure Centre is open Aug. 31 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sept. 1 and Sept. 2 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed on Sept. 3.
The leisure centre is closed after that for maintenance until Sept. 21.
Beer Store
Open Sept. 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sept. 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There is no change to garbage, organics or recycling pickup. All county waste management facilities will be closed, except for Site 8 (Matchedash).
