Police and public safety organizations from across the province are joining forces next month to host a career expo.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, May 4 at Liberty North (100 Caplan Ave.) in Barrie from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will provide people the chance to meet with recruiting teams from 18 different police services and public safety organizations. They will be on hand to speak directly to potential applicants interested in a career in public safety.
Attendees will have the chance to meet recruiters and ask about educational requirements, training recommended and the application process.
Organizers say this career expo will be one of the largest gatherings of Ontario police services and their recruiting units in this area, making it a prime opportunity for anyone interested in a career in public safety.
