Mini Masters Montessori spread some Mother's Day cheer over the weekend

Local Montessori school staff make a special visit to their families on Mother's Day

“We've got sunshine on a cloudy day - when it's cold outside we got the month of May," says Bradford's Mini Masters Montessory staff.

The weather over Mother's Day weekend was less than ideal with snow, rain and frigid temperatures, but that didn't stop Mini Masters Montessori staff from visiting their students to spread some cheer to their students.

"Even during the most unpleasant of times, in this case, all of us dealing with the uncertainty of COVID-19, together we can bring about very enjoyable things indeed – in this case, an abundance of flowers in May," said the school's supervisor, Rachel Liao.

On Sunday morning, staff set out to deliver flower planting kits to their students and families, along with a special gift for mom from the school's director to unwrap, to celebrate Mother's Day.

It's been almost two months since the school's closing and the staff are missing their students terribly. Students waited on their porches in anticipation of the visit with signs and smiles as the school staff dropped off their gifts from a far.

"They were excited and it was a FUN-tastic day, we miss our children and our families very much."
