Postcard Memories is a new, bi-weekly series of historic views and photos submitted by Nicholas Molnar. You can take a trip down memory lane with us every other Saturday morning!

The old Bradford High School was located at 28 Queen St. This is a picture taken soon after the building was constructed in 1892, as the trees and bushes surrounding the school are still small.

It consisted of four large classrooms, two upstairs and two down, and a natural history room. The school employed three teachers.

In 1900, the number of students was 87. In 1904, it was 144. The first headmaster was S. Arthur Marling. This building burned down in 1924. The new building was constructed in late 1924.
