School board hosting voluntary asymptomatic Covid testing clinic in Bradford tonight

Bradford District High School(BDHS) is hosting a voluntary asymptomatic Covid testing clinic for students and staff of Bradford public schools tonight from 3:30 - 8 p.m. 

As part of the updated health and safety measures announced by the Ministry of Education, school boards are required to conduct asymptomatic COVID-19 testing in at least five percent of schools each week.

In the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB), testing will be delivered by LifeLabs.

Asymptomatic testing of students and staff is voluntary and parent/guardian consent is required for students 18 years of age and under.

Staff and students from the following schools are eligible for testing at the BDHS located at 70 Professor Day Drive:

Bradford District HS

Chris Hadfield PS

Fieldcrest ES

Fred C. Cook PS

Honourable Earl Rowe PS

Learning Centre (Bradford campus)

Simcoe Shores SS (Bradford location)

Sir William Osler PS

W.H. Day ES

Parents/guardians of the school communities will receive information from their child's school regarding the process. Please contact your child's school directly if you did not receive this information.
