Duncan Caves Trail in the Town of the Blue Mountains features crevice caves for which the Collingwood-Blue Mountain area is known.
Fairly remote, it is far from the madding crowd with nary another hiker to be seen on a recent weekday venture.
Hiking is the only permitted activity on the trail, which meanders through meadows, woods and alongside and overtop crevices.
The parking lot is small and there are many online warnings about cars parked on the road being ticketed.
