If you will be in Bradford West Gwillimbury this Victoria Day long weekend, make sure to keep the following closures in mind when making plans: 

Government offices

All Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury offices will be closed May 21.

Transit

Bradford Transit will not run May 21.

Library

Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library is open May 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., but closed Sunday and Monday.

Leisure centre

Bradford West Gwillimbury Leisure Centre is open May 19 and May 20 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., but closed May 21.

The regular May schedule is in effect for aquatics and skating at the leisure centre, and people should refer to the modified May schedule for fitness class changes and locations. The gym is closed for floor resurfacing.

Swimming lessons and pre-registered leisure programs are unavailable May 19 to May 21.

Grocery stores

Sobeys, Zehrs and Food Basics are open regular hours all weekend.

No Frills is open regular hours Saturday and Sunday, but just 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.

Walmart Bradford Supercentre is open regular hours Saturday and Sunday, but just 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

Other locations closed on May 21:

  • Schools
  • Banks
  • Beer store
  • LCBO

There is no change to garbage, organics or recycling pick up this weekend.
