The Tec-We-Gwill Women’s Institute is looking for women who like to get their hands dirty.

The institute is hosting a pottery-making workshop at the Tec-We-Gwill WI Hall in Newton Robinson in November. Participants will create two pieces of pottery using slabs and moulds to shape the pottery, and stamping textures onto the pieces.

The workshop will require three sessions — Nov. 5, 12 and 26 — from 7-8:30 p.m. each evening.

The cost is $10 for Tec-We-Gwill WI members, and $30 for non-members.

Space is limited to 10 participants. To sign up, contact Andrea Nolan at [email protected] or call 705-458-8964 and leave a message, by Oct. 31.
