A Christmas market will be open for your shopping pleasure, from soaps and candels to leggings, handcrafted goods and bags, there is something for everyone. Cross some people off your list while shopping local.

Free admission.
The Bradford United Church Women host their Christmas Bazaar on Nov. 16, 10:30 to 2 p.m. – with local artisans, bake sale and a silent auction. A hearty home-made lunch of soups and sandwiches available for $12. Interested vendors call 905-775-7268.

Artisan Show
Tec-We-Gwill Women’s Institute Hall, 4380 Line 10 in Newton Robinson, BWG
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Free admission
Local artisans, crafters and makers will participate in the Artisans’ Show at the Tec-We-Gwill Women’s Institute Hall in Newton Robinson, BWG, on Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Rural art, pottery, fine woodworking, painting, chain saw art and more on display and for sale; cash or cheque only, please. The Tec-We-Gwill Women’s Institute will have baking, food and refreshments for sale, a children’s activity table, and children’s gift table. Admission is free.
 
Churchill United Church Christmas Tea, Craft and Bake Sale

Great craft vendors, super bake sale and a tasty lunch, at Churchill United Church’s Christmas Tea, Craft and Bake Sale, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring a donation of new socks or mittens, and receive a ballot on a draw for a great gift basket. BWG Santa Claus Parade
Holland St. West in Bradford

Free
Night-time illuminated Santa Claus Parade starts at Bradford District High School, at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 16, and parades along Holland Street, turning south on Simcoe Road. Always attracts thousands of visitors, waiting to see Santa arrive!

Sunday Nov. 17

200th Anniversary Service
St. John's Presbyterian Church, 2940 10th Sideroad, Bradford
11 a.m. - 3 p.m. 
With The Reverend Dr. David Sherbino as our Guest Preacher, the Tyndale University College Choir under the direction of Dr. Melissa Davis and The Reverend Dr. Alan Goh, Moderator of the Presbytery of Oak Ridges.

A catered lunch will follow the service but please, RSVP to [email protected] to claim your spot. The luncheon is free but a donation is gladly accepted.
